What is Data Mesh Live?

It's the number one conference for learning about decentralised data architectures. It will bring together the community of data leaders, experts, and practitioners exploring and implementing these ideas.

The conference line-up features well-known experts as well as practitioners at large companies applying Data Mesh techniques and practices in complex data environments.

The event will be the in-person meeting point for the community to share learnings from the wild and evolve the four core ideas behind Data Mesh; Domain-driven ownership, data as a product, self-serve data platform, and federated computational governance.

Why should I attend Data Mesh Live?

Most large data conferences try, and often fail, to cover 10-15 different topics and only skim the surface. Data Mesh Live is a deep exploration of this one approach, and through talks and workshops, will reveal actionable insights you can apply in your own environment.

Who is curating the line-up?

Data Mesh Live is 100% community curated. Unlike many data conferences which are just pay-to-speak with no open call for papers, we've worked with Tom De Wolf, Data Mesh expert at ACA Group and organiser of the Data Mesh Belgium Meetup to bring you a line-up of senior Data Mesh practitioners and leaders.

Who are the organisers?

Data Mesh Live is organised by Aardling, a software consultancy focused on strategy, design and architecture. Aardling has also been organising Data Mesh trainings since 2019, working with large enterprise companies such as Microsoft, The Guardian, Morgan Stanley, and Standard Bank.

Aardling’s conferences are curated by the community and executed by a dedicated, professional events team. Their conferences are known for their session quality and the attendee experience.

In 2025, Data Mesh Live will be co-located with DDD Europe and EventCentric.
